Booksigning – Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the booksigning on Saturday. It was great to talk with old and new friends, and meet new readers as well. Brenda and her staff at Waldenbooks at the Leavenworth Plaza did an awesome job as always, and the event was a huge success.

If you didn’t make it, Brenda has signed copies of One Real Man and One Real Cowboy in stock. 🙂

Drop in signing

I had to do the grocery store trip yesterday, and I ended up in the book aisle. (Imagine that!) Anyway, they had two copies of One Real Man on the racks. Usually they stock minimum of three, so somebody had already bought a copy. 🙂 I got out my pen and signed the two copies, then put a shiny gold autographed sticker on the cover, and put them back at eye level.

Amazing how good these drop in signings can be. I hope that it’s a treat for readers to happen on an autographed copy in a store.

Tomorrow is the real deal at Waldenbooks in Leavenworth. Hope to see some of you there.

The Devil’s Daughter by Laura Drewry

Check out Laura Drewry’s latest–

The Devil’s Daughter is on the shelves!

Fire and brimstone she can manage;
Falling in love’s a whole “˜nother story. . .

The Devil’s Daughter will do whatever it takes to win her freedom, even if it means claiming the soul of sexy Jed Caine.

There’s no question he wants her, but he wants more than just her body; he wants her heart, too, and he’ll settle for nothing less. His stubborn ways and gentle touches are too much— even for the devil’s own daughter. She was sent to steal his soul, yet there he was. . . capturing her heart.

How was she ever going to explain this to her father??

Here’s what the reviewers have to say:

“. . .a provocative western loaded with lustful love scenes and a romance that will melt your heart.” 4 1/2 stars
– Romance Junkies

“. . .a clever paranormal western with a bad-girl heroine and a saintly hero struggling with love, loyalty, duty and passion. It reads like the best of Americana, with the right hint of devilishness, proving that naughty can be good.” 4 stars
– Romantic Times BookReviews

“. . .devilishly delightful. . .”
– Harriet Klausner

“. . .humor, sizzle, and emotion in a strong novel.” 4 stars
– BooksForABuck

“. . .a lighthearted romp from the gates of hell to the Old West.”
– Singletitles.com

“. . .an original, creative, and humorous story. . .” 5 spurs
– LovesWesternRomances

Have you seen him?

The official release day for One Real Man is April 1, but it’s been spotted in bookstores already.

First person to let me know (thank you, GF!) was Sharon Long (aka Maya Banks). She found ORM in a Books-A-Million in Texas and took my hot Blue Boy home with her. 🙂

If you spot it on the shelves, comment here so I know!

Happy Easter!

samsonsfirstgroomingToday was Samson’s debut at the groomer. He’s probably been in a car 3 times now. The time he was taken to the pound, the day I adopted him and fetched him home, and today. The groomer said he did really well–never barked or tried to bite, which is good. We’ve been working hard on the random nipping stuff. And mercy, he looks and smells so much better!

So from me and Samson to you, I hope you have a wonder Easter holiday.
