Happy Easter!

samsonsfirstgroomingToday was Samson’s debut at the groomer. He’s probably been in a car 3 times now. The time he was taken to the pound, the day I adopted him and fetched him home, and today. The groomer said he did really well–never barked or tried to bite, which is good. We’ve been working hard on the random nipping stuff. And mercy, he looks and smells so much better!

So from me and Samson to you, I hope you have a wonder Easter holiday.

His gentler personality is starting to come out now. I bought another industrial strength chew toy today–two throw rugs have alread surrendered their lives and I’d hate to lose more of them, lol.

He knows it too, Michelle. He’s very much a show-off. 🙂

We had a chow named Samson. He was such a good dog, but high maintenance what with the hair and all.
I haven’t thought about him in a while….huh. It must be at least 10 years since he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Thanks for bringing back some really good memories, Jan!

Angie-la, I don’t think my Samson is going to have that full ruff mane typical of chows. He has all the other features of a chow, though his tongue is mottled at this point. I think it’s in the process of turning chow black. Glad to have brought back pleasant memories for you. 🙂

I’m glad you came by to meet Samson, too, Kathy. Yesterday he got neutered, so he’s pretty reserved and hang-dog right now.
