What a month!

April has been absolutely wild. I knew going in that if I made it to the end of the month and accomplished my goals and commitments, I could face just about anything later on.

I had a requested novel to finish for Harlequin Presents, which I’m very excited about and am hoping it advances me up the food chain in the writing world. And I had a multi-book proposal to finish for my Kensington editor, which I’m doubly excited about because I really love the western romances. Western authors get short-sheeted enough.

Booksigning – Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the booksigning on Saturday. It was great to talk with old and new friends, and meet new readers as well. Brenda and her staff at Waldenbooks at the Leavenworth Plaza did an awesome job as always, and the event was a huge success.

Drop in signing

I had to do the grocery store trip yesterday, and I ended up in the book aisle. (Imagine that!) Anyway, they had two copies of One Real Man on the racks. Usually they stock minimum of three, so somebody had already bought a copy. 🙂 I got out my pen and signed the two copies, then put a shiny gold autographed sticker on the cover, and put them back at eye level.

Amazing how good these drop in signings can be. I hope that it’s a treat for readers to happen on an autographed copy in a store.
