I know a lot of people hope they’ll get a white Christmas, and I’ll admit I find beauty in a rolling landscape dusted in white and shades of gray. I even like the crunch of snow underfoot and that ethereal glow that comes off a snowscape at night.
BUT, bah-humbug! I don’t like it when the snow is mid-calf (and higher in drifts). I don’t like the butt-cold wind either that seems to blow right through my old house. I don’t like shoveling snow mountains (so I don’t do it). 🙂
I posted a couple of pictures of our new wintery scene on my website, so pop over and take a look if you have time.
To all my readers, friends and family, be safe and happy. And have a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We had a wet Christmas…rain instead of snow.

Hope you and the family had a great Christmas, Michelle. Baby’s first Christmas are always special. Loved the Christmas letter. 🙂
Ah, Jennifer, I’d have gladly sent you all our snow if I could’ve. We had more today, which was just messy and slick to drive in. And unfortunately we have more predicted for Friday. That’s just too much of the white stuff, imo.
