Deep in the heart of proposals

I just finished the first 60 pages of a western historical paranormal, and I’m loving it. It’s darker than my romances, and I so want to write this trilogy! But to do that (ergo, sell the idea to a publisher) I have to write a compelling synopsis to accompany those pages, and I dread it.

Seriously I have to get over this synopsis phobia I have. So, I’m going with my gut and trying a new approach to synopsis writing. No idea if it’ll fly, but nothing ventured nothing gained.

The proposal for the final book in my Born in a Brothel trilogy is ready for my editor’s eyes now. Yeehaw!

And another idea for a western historical trilogy is cooking away in my brain.

Today, life looks pretty good. 🙂

I can’t wait. To have a western paranormal sounds great. I have read a few and have enjoyed them very much. Looked at your books and read the excerts and will be putting them on my TBB list.

What makes you want to write a historical paranormal. I like historicals but not sure I would like a paranormal.

I’ve always wanted to write one, Jane. This idea has bounced around in my head for a long time, and I would really love to write it. Of course, I have to snag an editor’s interest first. 🙂
And, I still intend to write historical romance. The paranormals would be an extra outlet for my works.

I will as soon as I can, Julia, meaning when I get the go-ahead from an editor, I’ll post more on the blog. At this point it’s too early to discuss it in public. 🙂

Ooh, that sounds intriguing! I finally got a chance to read ONE REAL COWBOY, and it was so captivating that I read it straight through. It’s definitely a keeper!

Wow, wow, thanks, Zara! You made my day. 🙂

    Tammy, I love them too.

Hey, Robyn, I have a new western romance trilogy I’m mulling over as well as the para one, so there will be more cowboys from me. Yeehaw!

    🙂 Thanks, Kimberly.
