To the count of fifty

I’ve begun an exercise routine, and I can feel the burn. I imagine by tomorrow I’ll feel the pain, lol. But after trying on summer duds, I realized winter gravity wasn’t kind to me.

Going to the gym is out. I’d never keep up with the commitment because I prefer exercising in the morning. No way am I tromping out of the house at the crack of dawn to do my workout. That’s why I invested in good exercise equipment for the home, but in all honesty that stuff is gathering dust.

So what am I using? A rope/pulley deal that mimics situps and leg scissors that I bought for less than $10 years ago. I’m using it because it does target my problem areas, and in the past I’ve seen results after the first week.

Wishful thinking??? Dunno. Fingers crossed my luck holds and the elastic in the bod will snap back into shape. 😆

Well, after day two the body is protesting, Crystal. LOL, I’m going to stick with it though. Really, I am. 🙂

I just can’t get in the exercise mode. We have so many exercise equipment it is hard to decide which one to do. I think the total gym and the exercise bike would be the ones I would use. We also have atreadmill and weight bench. I really need to lose some weight.

That’s where I am at, Loretta, needing to lose some pounds. But I also needed to focus on some trouble spots. Right now my legs are so sore, but I think that’s because they are finally–finally–toning up. But wow, it takes work.

I desperately need to get my exercise mojo on. It’s almost bathing suit season, and right now that’s just scary. I’m more Jello than J-Lo right now.

LOL, Zara. I know the feeling. Right now my legs are screaming in protest of the exercises.

My get-up-n-go has got-up-and-went some where unknown. I sure wish it’d come back. I really need to get in shape and loose some weight. We just moved into this house & we put the computer on the second floor some maybe going up and down the stairs several times a day will help. You guys keep up the good work.

oh yes, my treadmill is getting very lonely sitting by itself in the back room with the door closed.
I haven’t used it in months.
