Big ol’ lump of coal

This year, I’m lobbing the lumps of coal at my IP. For this year, they have consistently provided me with : intermittent internet service, disconnected me at whim, reduced the measely kbs I was getting by on to a typical 25,000 receiving on a good day, and provided a laundry list of worthless excuses why my service is total crap.

They are the only “game” in Whoville. My IP sucks, knows it, and doesn’t give a flying fart. I am considering switching to yahell dialup. Or even AOL. God help me, it’s that bad. Yes, there is no DSL in my neck of the woods in Whoville. 🙁

Oh, there’s the possibility I could get cable, but like dish service, the cost is beyond me at this point in time.

So if you know of a fairly reliable dial up service that’s nationwide, please let me know. And please, help yourself to the coal on the back porch. You’ll also find the directions there to my IP, so feel free to pelt them.

Big Hugs! I sometimes feel like lumping that coal at my e-mail…but my Internet hasn’t been too bad…I have a cable modem though.

I will throw some coal with you though!

Pitch away, Jennifer. And while you’re at it, lob a few heavy ones at my former mechanic. His ineptness from several years back cost me a bundle today.

check out netzero, Jan… they’re cheap and they’re everywhere and the service is reliable.

Ah, Jan, I feel your pain, GF. I live in Whoville too and was on dial-up that was slower than molasses on a freezing morning. I was forced to go satellite, because I was getting ready to hammer someone’s head at BellSouth. I went Hughes Net, and I’ve never been happier. The service is more expensive than I was paying,(my area couldn’t get DSL), but worth it in my book. I just hope you get it resolved soon. There’s nothing more frustrating than riding a jackass through cyber-space. Giddyup, Bessie!!!!
