2007 RWA Conference In Dallas, Texas

What a treat to finally meet Michelle Diener from South Africa!

Me at my first RWA Literacy signing. Wow, what a rush! That's the back of Alison Kent who gave me chocolate, earning my undying gratitude.

My dear friends and critique partners, Sharon Long/Maya Banks and Amy Knupp.

Sharon Long/Maya Banks, Sylvia Day, and Amy Knupp.

Me with Karin Tabke. Karin is always loads of fun.

Fellow Kensington author Sylvia Day and me.

Sylvia Day, Karin Tabke and me.

I caught up with Liz Kreger, Michelle Diener and Edie Ramer after their FF&P party. It was great to meet Edie face to face after years of chatting online, and wonderful to see Liz again. Michelle is gracious, and I absolutely love her accent!

The original critique group

Michelle, Karin, Liz and Edie were a crit foursome, and Amy, Allison, me and Sharon were the other foursome. This was the first time we were all together, and we're still all friends. How awesome is that? And yes, I call us the Amazing Eight because within two years of teaming up, all but two of us are published. Yeah, amazing.
